I have great enthusiasm for WordPress, so I was honored to have the opportunity to design the 2012 Seattle WordCamp website. As WordCamp Central explains “WordCamp is a conference that focuses on everything WordPress.” I worked on this project on behalf of a WordPress company called Freshmuse, which sponsored the event.
This was a fun project because I had the challenge to work on a site with access only to the CSS file and the ability to add graphics but with no direct access to the theme or server. It was a little like doing something for CSS Zen Garden, a site that is all about the power of CSS. Below is a screenshot of the original theme (as used, in this case, by the Nashville WordCamp) before I added my own graphics and customized the CSS file.
